I love steak, but I've had a hard time trying to keep it tender after re-heating what's left over. Am I supposed to add some type of tenderizer, marinade, or something I don't know about???

Another option that we like with leftover steak is to slice it thin and serve it on a salad or in a pita bread sandwich, which works particularly well if it's medium rare to rare.

Or we like to slice it thin and put a little dijon mustard on it, bread it and quick fry it in a pan with a little vegetable oil.

In a frying pan put about 1/2 cup water put a lid on pan let simmer until water is gone. Turn meat over and do the same thing. I is ready and tender! Good luck with it.

put it in a shallow, flat dish filled about 1/8 inch deep with water. Sprinkle some water over the top. Cover dish tight with clear saran wrap. Microwave 1.5-4 minutes. The water should keep it from getting dry and tough.
