I love steak, but I've had a hard time trying to keep it tender after re-heating what's left over. Am I supposed to add some type of tenderizer, marinade, or something I don't know about???

wrap it in foil, and heat it up at about 300 degrees. foil will keep some of your juices in there... yummy

If your putting it in the microwave, put it in some sort of container and add a little water at the bottom, put the lid on halfway and as it cooks the mositure from the steam will keep it tender. You can do the same thing in the oven, just make sure the the dish is oven safe.

I like to first wrap leftover steak in a paper towel, then wrap in plastic, put in frigde. for up to 4 days. Reheat in a microwave oven for a minte inside of entire wrapped package.

Any which way you decide to cook it, it is going to make it more well done then it originally was, which is going to make it tougher then it originally was. Your best solution is to wrap it in foil and a little water... heat in your oven at about 300 - 350 degrees... but it's still going to cook it and make it more well done (i.e. if it was originally med-rare, it will probably cook it to a med to med-well depending on how long you cook it for).

if you reheat in the microwave, put a wet paper towel over it; the steam will heat the steak without drying it out

you should make sure it is wrapped really tight when you put it away, the air does more to make it dryed out then you warming it up,try putting it IN the oven on a low setting until it is hot, I can't think of any other way with out it getting tough.

place it in a plastic ziplock bag opened, and just make sure not to over heat it, id go 20 seconds on one side, flip it 20 seconds on the other side then just keep doing this until you feel its done

microwave it but put a wet wash cloth in there also. the steam will keep it moist. this also works with dinner rolls and anything else that will get hard in the microave.

good luck!
