I love that meal!!! but what can I make for a side or dessert that will spice things up a little?
or should I just bake an apple pie and call it good?

An all-American apple pie doesn't sound bad with an all-American home cooked meal like that! My favorite place for different recipes is www.recipezaar.com if you have the time to look! You could make a salad to go with that!

Angel food cake with some fruit on it. After a heavy meal you'll probably want something a little lighter.

Suzie - see - you know what is exactly right and still you were considerate enough to ask our opinion. Thanks. A homemade apple pie is perfect. and a meatloaf dinner is my favorite but I am not very good at making it.

Sounds Yummy as is, but a heap of onions and mushrooms on the side would be really " GOOD EATS"

SORRY TO SAY THIS, BUT ED WOULD BE EATING ALONE. I CAN'T DO THE MEATLOAF THING. BUT YA'LL GO AHEAD AND ENJOY IT. AND MAYBE YOU COULD MAKE A STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE TO GO ALONG WITH IT INSTEAD OF AN APPLE PIE?
