Ok so I know there's some sensitive people out there, so for whatever reason take no offence.
When I was in London (2005) I met some guys and they so sweet, they didn't creep me out, they didn't try anything inappropriate, and they were all around gentlemen, BUT why is it that here in America guys are nothing like this, most I've met are crude, sick, and love to go through your stuff, not at all gentlemen.

Because if you are a guy in london, your getting your as.s a lot easier than over here, think about it, the United States was founded by Prudes who didn't like the idea of sex until they were laying in bed next to thier spouses.... In england all the normal people stuck around, well they haven't changed they're moral's to much over there so basically what i'm trying to get at is you american women are stuck up, you don't put out as easily as English women and your not as laid back as english women, English men know this. Thats why they were perfect Gentelmen to you, cause they knew they were'nt going to get into an american girls pants......

Morals and ethics. I am so glad that I am married and do not have to navigate the dating seen this day and age. I feel so sorry for my daughters that it isn't even funny. There seems to be so much more drama involved in dating today. It used to be when you made a commitment it was just that ......a commitment. Today relationships are treated like disposable razors. When you are tired of it, throw it away and get a new one.

You need to meet more American guys then. I assure you there are plenty of gentlemanly American guys, and plenty of coarse, vulgar, inconsiderate British guys as well, so you just need to expand your circle of acquaintance and not make generalizations from a few people from the same small circle.

It's all about culture and what one is surrounded with. Different worlds create varied circumstances. Good luck in finding a good guy whereever you might be. I feel they are out there.

It's because in America...a lot of the guys aren't taught manners! I hate to say. I love my country but we're so "independant" that we've forgotten customs and manners and consideration!

as a stereotype, american's are lazy fat people, sadly, there is a reason why this a stereotype, it's mostly true.
Americans dont' have the customs of saying good morning, good afternoon, etc as in other countries.
