That is one of my favorite sayings. If you can live in the present, if you can become aware of the present, if you can focus on the present, then you can appreciate the present.
I'm typing this on a computer. That is just so cool if you think about it. Fifty year none of the few Hundred computers that Existed in the entire World could have fit under a desk. There would have been no way for Y!A to exist at all in any form.
Try to find something to appreciate in what you're doing. Try to do it all the time. You won't always succeed. Some things seem to be invincibly boring. Just remember, to throw out another favorite quote, no matter where you go, there you are.

I enjoy nearly every minute of every day. But I have an easy life. Maybe if I was born in Darfur it would be quite different.
Addendum: Per the gentleman above me. Yes. Weed is nice on occasion.

Too many people are ungrateful for the great blessing of being alive today. I consider myself lucky/blessed to be alive today. It is a great gift given to anyone who is reading this message right now.
Thats why they call it the present. :)
as in the present time, not the past or the future.

If you are contented what u have. People here either are back stabbing each other, search for fame, riches exotic.....
I have known a man who work as a sercuity guard is more happier than a man who have all the riches but an empty soul...
