This is the last place you want to buy a car that will be reliable, pass emission testing, doesn't have high miles. It could very well be a car destroyed by "Katrina", you must look these cars over, and you must have someone with you that has knowledge about cars and repairs. You are far better off buying from a private party. If you want auction sites, look in the phone book,or check online, but heed the warning "buyer beware".

Check the classified section of the newspaper (preferably from the largest town in your County) most newspapers have an advertisement or two which specify when and where auctions are to be held. Read the ad, and call the telephone number provided to find out what you need in order to bid on their vehicles.
