Does it bother you when christians take on things like your sacred Passover seder and try to fit them into their belief, or are you just resigned to the fact that they stole your sacred texts, lay claim to your G-d, and this is just a part of it?

lol justagrandma.. I'm pagan, so yeah I have that cool druidic tree on the winter solstice, and I celebrate Beltane on May 1st. But, that's because it's my tradition. I was asking about yours.

I don't mind as long as they do it to learn about Jewish customs, traditions, practices, etc., but it makes me very angry when they distort them by adding Jesus. Jesus is not mentioned anywhere in our Bible; the messiah will be a human, not divine; nor is there anything about eternal torment in our Bible. Our Bible is simply about the relationship between God and the people, Israel. Torah means instruction. It is our instruction for living Life itself!

Do you have a Christmas tree? Yes that strange Druidical winter ornament. Do you celebrate May Day? Not as Marys day, but as a start of spring holiday. Ever see an Easter Bunny in Jerusalem?
Christians take on all sorts of pagan holidays and even think they invented them.
The idea of a Holy Trinity of matzoh at Passover was pretty presumptuous, but again Christians take everything as a symbol of Jesus.
You don't have to be Jewish,
But it helps.

Yes, it is VERY annoying and offensive to me, because the things in our sacred Passover seder are there for a reason, and that reason is NOT J*sus! For them to do this is blasphemy.
But in the end there is nothing I can do about it. It is their freedom to do so.
Now however, there is a difference. Someone I know has been asking my synagogue for help in creating a Catholic seder to show Xtianity's Jewish roots--in my opinion, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that type of thing, as it fosters common ground and brotherhood and peace. But they do have the supervision of a Jewish authority on it.

No, it does not bother me. They are trying to find something they lost and perhaps are on the way home, like the prodigal son.
You have to remember, Christianity is based upon borrowed beliefs. The faith has taken ideas and concepts from many faiths and incorporated them into its theology. That gives it a "low common denominator" and thus made it acceptable to many people.
In my view, better the "goys" accept Christianity than Islam as Christianity has pretty much outgrown its violent childhood and grown into a mature, peaceful faith. Those who accept Islam are still at the "terrible two" stage of life and violence seems to be their mainstay.

Clarification; As a 'Christian' I realize that many 'Christians' have changed Passover to Easter , which is a very spiritually speaking dangerous thing to do presently. Satan does not have to eliminate things, just change them for him to 'win'.
As to someone saying Jesus was not there; I beg to differ; but due to an addition to God's word allowed presently in this country, I will hold the thought for now here.

It is a generally accepted fact the the Last Supper was a Passover Seder.
That many Christians don't want to acknowledge that is their problem.

It seems as if you have read my mind.
Yes.
I am bothered by Christians who adopt Jewish customs, since you cannot be both or do both. Choose ONE religion and stick with it, PLEASE!!!
