He drinks out of his sippy cup with handles, he hates the other kind, but once it is half empty he gets frusterated because he doesn't know how to hold it up more to get the rest of the juice out. I hold it up for him while saying up...up...up but it is not working.

The answer is simple. Spend the time to teach him. Hold the bottom of the sippy cup up for him while he holds the handles, that way he will get used to it. Once you see him do that, tell your hand go from the bottom of the cup and he'll be holding the cup by himself. This will take time. But again, you have to spend the time with him to learn.

Take a drink from the cup while making a sucking noise, and your baby will want to mimic you.Use a cup with two handles.

Have patience, this is totally normal and he will get it eventually, I promise. The more you expose the cup to him and let him explore how to drink from it, he will know what to do.
You didn't mention the child's age. My son didn't master a cup until about 13 months.

I would ay just keep letting him figure it out and holding it up like you said you do. Sooner or later he will realize he has to tilt the cup to get the juice.
I went through this with my kids also

Instead of holding it up FOR him hold it up WITH him. If he can get the feel of it maybe he'll get used to it after a awhile and start doing it himself.

Depends on how old he is. He may just have to grow into it. Can he drink from a straw yet?

Keep working with him showing him how you do it. He will get it. They all do.

duct tape the cup to his hand. Then take more duct tape and tape it from his head to his hand.
