Have you heard of The New Covenant... do you understand what this means?
Christians dont live according to the laws of the old testament (Mosaic laws), unless Jesus says to in the new testament... The old testament is the law of Moses, which is law of the Jews.
Please, come correct!

Oshihana:
Because Christ instructs us to obey the 10 commandements in the new testament:
16 Someone came to Jesus with this question: “Teacher,[f] what good deed must I do to have eternal life?”
17 “Why ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. But to answer your question—if you want to receive eternal life, keep[g] the commandments.”
18 “Which ones?” the man asked.
Matt. 19: 16-19
And Jesus replied: “‘You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. 19 Honor your father and mother. Love your neighbor as yourself.’[h]”
Matthew 22:37-40
37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

The Old Testament though is still very useful and a guide for our teaching.
The problem is not understanding these laws contextually. What to us in our modern 21 century lifestyle seems "cruel" during the time it was written was commonplace. All you have to do is read texts from other socities/religions/governments and see this to be true.

To accept the New Covenant, you have to believe that G-d said, "Opps, forget all those Commandments I gave you in the Old one, I was mistaken."
G-d does not make mistakes. Man does. No where in the Tanakh, (the proper name for the "OT") does it say the Commandments will out date or have a sunset provision. The Commandments are eternal. For Jesus to say you can ignore the Commandments just proves he was a man who made a mistake.
In regards to your other comment about the Tanakh being for the Jews, you are correct. Christians and other non-Jews (goys) were given the Noahite Law, which is simpler to follow. Even without Jesus, if a goy lives by the Noahite Law, he is "saved."

Then why do I always hear Christians talking about he 10 commandants? Isn't that just for the Jews if any? In that case, why don't Christians follow all of the commandments instead of cherry picking? Also, why is the Old Testament included in the bible read by Christan's if it is obsolete? Also, if the God in the OT is the same God written by the same God of the NT then isn't he held accountable for his actions in the OT as well as the NT?
Are we to ignore his cruel behavior just because it was against the people of olden? What about the babies that weren't defiled?

It's not a matter of "covenants", it's a matter of a bunch of stories that have archaeological correct locations, but no proof otherwise. Then there are the discrepancies between the old and the new and the internal discrepancies in the new...

You have spoken the truth, but they will not listen, because they prefer to remain ignorant in their ways.
I have tried so many times, with them continually doing so, I think it is because in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus, there is nothing but love and they cant handle that.
God bless you always, thanks for the opportunity to spread the Gospel of life.

If we must sk God to forgive us for being human, he must beg and plead for our forgiveness for the crimes he has perpetrated against us. He holds the sins of Adam and Eve against us, why should we not follow his example and hold his crimes against him? IT IS THE SAME GOD!!

I agree with you. Christians live by principle, not law.
