i was just wondering when my daughter should get her first haircut? She is two and is getting pretty long hair. It is blonde and straight. I don't know if getting a child this littles hair cut will make it grow faster? or make it healthier? does she have split ends? I have dark brown hair so you can tell when you have split ends and everything! but how do you tell on a blonde?

When it's long enough that you feel it needs to be cut.

I wouldn't cut it any shorter than her shoulders. I think little girls with long hair is so beautiful. My hair is past my waist and has been that way forever. When I was in the 4th grade my Mom let me cut it to my shoulders. After I did it I was so upset. Long hair is just not common anymore and when you do see it...it's just very feminine and beautiful.
