I've never seen Brown in any of my meditations--nor do I see any brown Chakras anywhere, even in the 15-Chakra system. (Maybe I saw a flash of Brown once, in a meditation, but it was soon gone.) What's wrong with Brown? Isn't it an Earth color? It's not that I'm not partial to Brown or anything; my favorite colors are Green, Yellow and Blue. But I think Brown needs some representation. It's a color too. Is it considered a dirty color?

Think about how brown comes to be when you mix a palette of colors. Brown is the mix of opposites together or complementary colors. Brown in the way that the chakras are represented does not have its own vibrational signal like the others do. Does not make brown a bad color just that it is not quite a color in connection with the energy that the chakras’ colors represent. Brown in a chakra would symbolize that there are some internal issues, mixing of opposites that are not straightened out and would need to be cleared out and released from a person so that energy could flow purely.

Racists never see Chakras that match a color they associate with a race they despise.

For example, I knew a woman who HATED Native Americans, and never saw Red Chakras.

On the flip side, I see Brown Chakras as often as any other color, although I see very little Gold. I'm told this may reflect a bias against the ultra-wealthy.

brown is only created by mixing a lot of different colours together. It is not a pure colour by itself. That probably has something to do with it.

There are some who say you get some fauns and browns in the 26 layers of the aura.

The color brown is associated with stability and neutrality. It is the color of Mother Earth and has with it all her genuineness. It is the color of truth and harmony, both of which are so abundant in nature.

Brown is the color of stability and protection. It represents vital, sensual perception. Brown is regarded in the color pyramid test as "representing psychological strength of resistance." Its significance is derived from the fact that it can be mixed from orange and black.

When used as part of healing, this earthy, balanced color aids in emotional stability and balance, eliminates indecisiveness, improves powers of concentration, study, intuitions and telepathy.

Its significance and your inclination towards it:
Brown is a color of solidity and reliability. As one moves from light brown to dark, genuineness also graduates into solidity. Brown can also be sad and wistful and is generally a color of masculinity.

Brown is also accompanied by diminishing accentuation, which allows the demanding attitude to become more determined and obstinate; but brown does at the same time represent positive, vital energy.

Brown people are lovers of the best things life has to offer; they are sensuous, appreciating good food, drink and company.

However, as a brown person, you may be bottling up emotions or a secret that makes you retreat into the shell and fear the outside world; thus you feel protected by wearing brown or a muddy color. There is a desire to be emotionally secure and accepted by the outside world. You need to understand your self-worth and ward off narrow-mindedness

Brown is an earthy color. It grounds, stabilizes and neutralizes. It is an effective color in healing. Brown clothing also suggests an honest, down-to-earth person who likes a structured supported lifestyle.

Brown is especially effective in stabilizing overexcited states. It calms and grounds emotions and extreme mental conditions. Brown can help awaken common sense and discrimination. It brings us back down to earth.

Brown is effective for any kind of spaciness. When it shows up in the human aura, brown may indicate a need for grounding. When the aura takes the shade of brown, it will often reflect infection in the body or that area of the body in which it overlays in the aura.

Brown can be used to stabilize all systems. It is useful in cases of hyperactivity with children, especially with combinations of colors in the rust to deep brown range.

Precautions
Too much exposure to brown may make one's personality coarser.
