He's going to get busted, even if he stops. The Dr will find out about everything. Unless the doc wants to cover for him, your cuz is going to jail for a felony offense. What doc would ever risk his license for some punk that that? bye bye, don't drop the soap.

I hope he gets caught. This is ridiculous! I have people arrested for this and trust me it happens weekly in my area. No he can't find out that way, so your thief cousin can rest easy. Many of the above statements are incorrect even though i wish there was a better way to monitor. If he's using insurance, they will catch on if the narcotic (which i know it is, since he can sell them) but if he's using cash there is NO WAY to find out unless the pharm catches on.

WHO is he to do this! He's making a mockery of the pharmacist! Not to mention stealing the doctor's identity! There's about 3 felonies here i really hope he gets put behind bars soon so he can realize what a fool he is!

Your cousin has broken a Federal law; a serious one. It's only a matter of time before the DEA will be in touch. Pharmacies are NOT stupid. There are ways for them and the doctor to know. There will be a knock on the door, and it will all be over.

shame on your cousin...doctor's spend years in school learning the proper dosages and mixture safety of different drugs and you cousin could easily end up killing himself...not to mention, there is a certain number a doctor has to put on a scrip to prescribe narcotics, the government does keep track of them because they are a controlled substance. If your friend tries to write one for narcs, the pharmacist will call the doctor...

MOst states now have a perscription monitoring system that is a huge database of all prescriptions for scheduled medication that are written to a person. This can be accessed by any doctor or pharmacist. Also, if someone seems to be getting excessive prescriptions for controlled substances, the DEA will flag the person's name and investigate. Of course, if your cosuin wasn't doing something illegal, immoral, and STUPID he wouldn't have to worry about it.

i'm assuming "your cousin" is forging scripts for DDA's

itz thanx to people like "your cousin" that genuine folk find it increasingly difficult to have necessary pain relief prescribed
