There is this artist I love named Karrin Allyson and she sings a mix of blues and jazz there is this song called hum drum blues, and also moanin, that is awesome to escape into for me, if you want a "pump you up" song this isn't the artist to get into, but for me exercise is my escape into a life less ordinary and just chill so hard core music just gives me an adrenaline rush, and I am already getting that by working out, but if I need motivation to kick butt I listen to system of the down or Flyleaf but I like a different vibe then most people and I can still kick a*s*s to my chill music.

Depending on what type of music you listen to...
but i prefer rock, hard rock, or anything thats super upbeat. Anything with a hard hitting bass, or really aggressive tone, also anything with a killer guitar riff/solo.
Jessie's Girl - rick springfield
I wanna be sedated - the ramones
Blister in the sun-violent femmes
Pink has good songs to work out to
Heartbreaker- Pat benetar
Green Day's stuff is good to work out to
My Chemical Romance...
I like to work out to anything that has good lyrics, so i think about what they're saying and critiquing it, instead of how much more i have to work out.
