This guy I know tells me that he was in past relationships where the women pretended to be something they weren't. He's naturally hesitant because of those experiences. Lately, he's backed off. It's been about 3 weeks since he and I have really talked. The "real me" would call him and try to meet with him just to get us on the same page. Because, well if he doesn't want to pursue anything then I would want to know up front. People tell me to wait it out. The waiting is kicking my butt. If he wants the real me, wouldn't it be better if I acted like I normally would - even if it was the wrong thing to do? What do you think?

Hi, the way people see us does not necessarily reflect of who WE really are; an individual is rich in values, talents, capabilities, etc etc etc, however other people choose what to see in us and most probably agree only to what they really want to see in us. Why? In friendship, partners seek company, trust, maybe confidentiality, maybe something deeper, so they view the individual from a point of view agreeable only to satisfy their particular needs. In fact, so many people misinterpret the individuality of their friends, partners, colleagues in such a way that when these are hurt, fed up with opponent's behaviour or whatever, then it is fully recognised of who the individual really is. I do agree with you when you say 'waiting is kicking', I would suggest that you circle amongst other friends and make the best of who you really are. You are surely an individual full of wonderful characteristics, talents, capabilities, success; don't ever think of throwing away your life for somebody who is still blind to search for your good qualities. Should other stars cross your paths, hold their hands. If this guy is late, tough luck for him, he will be the loser. Just remember this: YOU ARE ALWAYS A WINNER because you are the leader of your life.

Good Luck, I wish you well
