Go for it! Fiat coupes are as cheap as they'll ever be. If you buy a good one & find a good specialist garage (NOT a Fiat dealer) It should provide years of high speed fun.
They go like stink & look fantastic. It's hard to believe they were styled by Chris Bangle, The American Idiot responsible for the current range of plug-ugly BMWs.
The only thing I'd watch out for is whether the cambelt has been changed recently, it's a major job as space in the engine bay is very tight.
Buy it & enjoy!!

This is true, for the same amount of money you can get a Mitzi 2000gt which would leave the fiat (or Fix It Again Tony as i call em) in the shade , well next to a skip more like and it almost looks like a Ferrari. So to sum it up, all round beauty or a fiat. the chose is yours.

I'd love one. I love the looks and its the fastest car I've ever tested.
People used to say the same (not so any more) about Ducati motorcycles - don't buy one if you actually want to ride it - but they are Italian classics and people rave over them and even when they were unreliable, they queued up to buy them.
I don't know about the practical stuff, but the heart says YES, even if the head says no. Sometimes you just have to take the chance don't you? Good luck.
