At what age does a small breed dog like my Shih tzu have complete controll of it's bladder?

typically in adolescense. But with most smaller and toy breeds potty training takes a little bit longer. Maybe it is the reduced size in their bladder. I would suggest if your having troubles you look into crate training. It in my openion is the best way. I have much sucess with my toy poodles training them this way i have trained them to use a potty pad and the outdoors. There are many resources on the net just type crate training into your search engine.
