I like Miracle Whip in all indoor situations like you said. When I make sandwiches, tuna/chicken/egg/potato salad, etc. But when I'm grilling out I love a big jar of Duke's mayonnaise.

I only like Miracle Whip with tuna fish, but mayo on most other things. Usually have both in the house.

Regular Miracle Whip is for sandwiches and Regular Mayo for chips and salad.

Mayo, but not just any mayo, it has to be Kewpie mayonnaise. It is a Japanese brand, you can find it at any Asian foods store. It tastes way better than any other mayonnaise I have tried. I don't like Miracle Whip unless there is no other choice.

Call me a product of the Miracle Whip generation! lol I think I have eaten it all of my life. Someone accidentally bought mayo once years ago and I did not like it at all. My mother (who did not raise me), however, was a mayo purist. I guess it all depends on your taste.

It's a toss-up in this family. I love Miracle Whip (especially the light) and my husband will only eat real mayo. So there's two different versions of tartar sauce, salads, etc...
