What kind of ID do my kids need to fly within the US?

None, my 11 year old flew a few weeks ago with her Aunt from Memphis to Chicago and didn't require any ID.

kids only need ID on international flights (their passport)

if they are 18 or older they just need a i.d from the state but if they are younger they dont need anything.

none, but if they are old enough, the gate agent will ask their first and last name to make sure it matches the ticket.
