The Shiite and Sunni rift comes down to a simple thing. They both believe the first four leaders of the church are right. but when the fifth leader came about part of the muslims split off and said this person has a right to run the church and the other half said no this is the desendent of Muhammid.
That is the whole reason they fight.
Period.

Moslems are the people who say that there is one GOD who is ALLAH and that Mohamed is the last prophet , but they are divided into some sort of different ways.they have no difference in the main concepts of Islam but there are small difference between them like who is better aly ebn aby taleb or abo -bakr ( the prophet Mohamed friends ) . these are small differences but all moslems are brothers and they like each other .
