I had a coloscopy done and they had to do a biopsy. I was just wondering how big of a piece of tissue that they did cut off.

What? So they're looking up your butt and then somehow manage to reach your cervix?
No, they didn't cut off your cervix. Even if they had to take a tissue sample, it would have been very very small.

Hi, I had one done too a few months ago. The was the doctor explained it to me that its a small piece. She said it was about as big as when you pull a hair out and can see the root, she said it was that big. Good luck with your results.

i agree with most of the people it's a small piece, about the size of the hair root. it only takes a couple seconds, and just imagine him using him a small tweezer and quickly pulled. it sounds worse than it is. good luck!
