and they told you "I'm not mad or anything. Just gimme sec k." how long would you give them?

It has been 2 days now.

He's probably the type of person that doesn't like to be in conflict, so he finds a way to stray away from it. I'm one of those people. On the other hand, he may be a person where he may seem mad at one time, but he's actually very calm inside. These are the two options that I've actually had personal experience with. You should probably give him about a day, so he'll be more calm, but to where he hasn't totally forgotten what has happened. If you don't address this soon enough, there may be other things that you won't address and they'll just get bigger and bigger, and they'll get out of control. So take control of the situation, not the person, in about a day. You might take him out to dinner tomorrow or something like that, and bring it up there, a little discretely, to where he won't have a way to get away. If that doesn't work, just talk it out when you two are together.

Well 2 days is definitely not a sec. I would approach your partner and ask if he's had enough time to cool down. 2 days is more than enough unless the argument was over some thing huge. If he still needs time don't be afraid to let him know that you still want to be kept in the loop and need to know when would be a better time to talk things over. If he just keeps prolonging it and doesn't come around, then take that as a sign and try to move on.

Please.. I don't get mad. I get even. If they do something to make me mad, I shoot first then ask them why they made me mad. Trust me, my boyfriend knows not to piss me off. He will do his best to keep me happy no matter what.
