julia, these things long term wise are a fad and a rip off. they are set up to lighten your wallet and nothing else. I used to be a hefty lardy *** 38 inch waist now I am 34 inch and feel and look much better. How did I manage this ? By cutting back on my food intake and joining a gym and working out 3 times per week. The money wasted on slimming tablets is better invested in a gym and you can save money by cutting back on your food intake.

Do you really think it is conceivably that easy. If it were, would there be so many fat guys?
Type guaranteed weight loss into google and you get 1 1/4 million sites! Does that not give you a hint that it is all a con?
Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veg. Around 1,500 calories.
Take a healthy amount of exercise 30-40 minutes of vigorous exercise per day 4-5 days a week. I hate to think what percentage of the UK population does that 2%? 5%?
No special diet,no herbal/dangerous/illegal drugs will fix it for you in 10 minutes without the need for me to get off the couch!

I agree with the above answer ,Frequent exercise is the best thing for both your physical and mental wellbeing. If you are really considering taking a slimming tablet please consult your doctor to make sure you have no underlying problems and are not taking prescribed medication. If you get the ok then go to your natural health store and ask them to run through the products they sell. There is one I sold a lot of called Natures Plus Skinny Mini. The good thing about this product (i used it myself) is that it is full of vitamins and minerals. Check out there website they are an american company. Good Luck in your quest to lose weight

Any tablet that claims it can give you weight loss is a controlled medicine. Most of them are licensed for obese people, who need help in conjunction with lifestyle changes - ie. exercise and dietary modifications.
Such drugs are Phentermine or Orlistat (which reduces the amount of fat absorbed during digestion).
To get such meds you would need a prescription, probably private, and may have to pay a considerable amount of money. General lifestyle improvements where both diet and exercise levesl are changed, have been proven to have the longest lasting weight loss effects.
Good luck! Rob

There are 2 types of diet pills. One has some type of fiber so you feel full (appetite suppressant) and the othe boosts your metabolism (increases your heartrate so you burn more calories) 'Fat burner' and 'fat blocker' pills are an advertizing gimmick. If you feel like you can't eat less and move more on your own, go with the appetite suppressant variety since they will not make you jittery and nervous.
