I have expeds for D of E to these two places. So any feedback would be helpful!

Peaks should be sunny, windy, and possible rain. Daughter has a pub there in Bullbridge. Last sept. was however hot. Take raincoat and woolly, but expect good weather as well.
being on hills they get rain before anyone else, but equally enjoy inland weather (warm).
Dartmoor should be about the same, but definitely rainshowers in april

Both are duff. You'd be better off going to the south where the sun more certainly shines. Spain or any Med island has more. Well worth the journey (and that can be part of the holiday experience, of course!) Happy landings! (I don't know what "expeds for D of E" are, sorry.)

Lovely. Went to Edale with old pal (who lived in nearby Sheffield), and it was heavenly. The people there are so friendly - and the best thing is that they are from that part of the world, rather than second-home greedy bastards from the usual cities. However - that was about 10 years ago!

As in previous experiences (camping) the weather is usually mild, but with the so-called climate changes, who knows!
