You stated in an earlier question that you received assistance from the Taxpayer Advocates Office and they advised you that your refund was issued on Friday of last week. Once it leaves the IRS Office it is in the hands of the Postal Service, you might get it today, or tomorrow or not til Saturday.
If you elected to have it direct deposited it could be sitting in your bank account right now.

I filed in mid-Feb and received my refund last week. Usually when there's a delay, there was some sort of error on the return. Usually you receive a letter explaining the error and the amount of the adjusted refund. The check will come a few weeks after that.

No we filed in Feb and and had our refund 3 weeks later. I did have to wait to file though because of the new Teacher Tax [I am a teacher and wanted it.] You can go to IRS web site and check the status of your refund.. that just stinks for you!

There is a problem with your refund, if you filed Jan 18 you should have it by now. You need to make a phone call and see where your refund is?
Make a phone call and talk to a human.

This happened to me last year. It turned out that H&R Block had screwed something up. It took the IRS months to send a letter to me informing me of the mistake. So by the time I got my check, it was August. Try calling the help line at the IRS.

It took me about 2 weeks, maybe, to get my direct deposit both from the IRS and my state. I filed using eFile from TaxCut software. My situation was moderately complex.
