"Buddhism, Christianity and The Questions of Creation: Karmic or Divine ?" is the only book I own by Pema Chodron.
Excellent Book.

"Open Heart, Clear Mind." & "Working With Anger" & "Cultivating a Compassionate Heart" are my favs by Thubten Chodron.
Just bought last night: "Taming The Mind"

What are your favorite books by these two wonderful authors, and why are they your favorite books ? How have your favorite books by these authors helped you in your walk of the Eightfold Path ?

Are any Buddhists/students of Buddhism out there familiar with Joseph Goldstein and
Sharon Salzberg ? If so, what do you think of their writings/books also ?

Always appreciate all your helpful, and most encouraging answers.

Venerable Thubten Chodron's book on "Working With Anger" was a wonderful treat for me... but I like all of her writing, anything by Pema Chodron is also nice... her "Compassion Box" with the cards on lojongs and meditation CD is wonderful...

Both write in a way that Westerners can more easily understand the Dharma.

I'm also a fan of B. Alan Wallace, Lama Yeshe's works, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, "Buddhist Psychology" by Geshe Tashi Tsering is excellent, "The Wisdom of Imperfection" by Rob Preece is good, Alexander Berzin's "Relating to a Spiritual Teacher" is EXCELLENT and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a teacher (available for free download at the Berzin Archives)

Currently I'm reading Liberation In the Palm of Your Hand by Pabongka Rinpoche... OOOH .... I almost forgot to mention Pema Chodron's take on the Bodhicharyavatara!

Venerable Thubten Chodron's compilation of prayers and practices "Pearl of Wisdom" is wonderful... way too many good ones to list... fairly anyway.
