1. I served 4 years Active Duty - Regular Army and after 12 months I received the Montgomery G.I. Bill.
2. Afterwards I served 5 years in the Army National Guard.
3. I am now in the "Air National Guard"
4. I want to transfer my GI Bill so that my wife can have a college education.
5. What can I do?

Nothing.

You cannot transfer your GI Bill to your spouse at this time.

The Army did a test program for 6 months a couple of years ago allowing the transfer of GI Bill to spouses, but they discontinued the program.

This can only be done while on Active Duty. The program still exists unlike what some people say but you have to be in an AD status. More info from the VA at:

I hate it when people do what I am going to do...answer a question without researching it to make sure it's correct...

..but, I will anyway. I'm 99.9% sure that your GI Bill is not transferable.

I could be (and hope that I am) wrong on this.

can't be done. currently only AD Army soldiers have that option, and it is limited to a VERY select group who meet all the criteria, which are pretty restrictive.. only certainMOSs are eligible, you must be an E5 or E6 and you must re up for 4 more years , and even then you can only transfer 50%.
