I don't do this often enough, but I actually find it relaxing to do a simple home improvement project where you can see results when you're done -- but nothing too challenging. Something like painting a bathroom cabinet. I get a sense of satisfaction when I'm done and I feel like an artist while I'm working on it.
Board games are a great way to laugh, have fun and relax. Of course, for that you need to have some other upbeat people to play with (who are good winners and good losers).
You could invite a neighbor or friend over for coffee or tea. Talking with a friend is wonderful fun.
Of course, there's always the long, soaky bath!
Think about what kind of relaxation would work for you based on what's missing in your life. I find that it helps to choose activities that are different from your usual.
For example, if you are usually sitting still most of the day, get active. If you are usually very active most of the day, then have some quiet time in one place. If your everyday work involves deadlines, choose a kind of recreation that has no time limit. If most of your day involves dealing with people, go solitary. If you are usually alone, find some company. It helps put balance in your life and helps you fill the needs that aren't being met.

Take time for intentional relaxation. Most people tell me they watch TV or read to relax. But have you ever checked your breathing rate, or muscle tension, while reading or watching a TV program? Now compare that to getting a massage. Big difference, right?
In contrast to the way we usually think, deep relaxation is not passive. The best, most rejuvenating relaxation actually occurs through focus. We set our intention to relax, and keep our attention on the process.
There are many ways to do this. One is through meditation. Another is through yoga, Qigong (a practice that combines breathing and movement exercises similar to yoga), or other intentional forms of body movement. Some people use creative arts, such as music or painting. Massage also works because we set the intention that we are dedicating time to relaxing.
Exercise. Ideally, exercise at least 30 minutes, five days a week.
Do something you enjoy every day. Most of us have forgotten how to play. And yet, joy is one of the most powerful natural tools we have to offset the effects of stress. Try taking 15 minutes a day this next week simply to enjoy yourself and observe the difference!

try finding something u like to do. somethings that's relaxing and doesnt take much energy. listen to ur favorite songs. write some of ur thoughts down. it depends on what kind of things u are into. sit back on the couch and watch some of ur favorite t.v. shows or movies and eat some of ur favorite snacks. think bout some of the things u wanted to do but u didn get the chance to and take the time to embrace ur lazy side. lol we all love be lazy at times. find a way that u can be lazy and just chill. not worrying about other things that will keep u busy. of if u want to, take a shower. im not sure if u would want to take a bath but taking long showers can help to relax too.

I have come to know you are diagnosed with exhausation today. With so much time at your disposal, Why don't you utilise your time in a better way, not only you will relax but it will also refreshen your mind. You take up gardening, laze around, reading or you can call up your friend at your home and can enjoy a movie with your friend or can go out for an outing. Do whatever you enjoy the most.

Get a glass of wine.Turn off the lights and put tealight candles all around the bathtub. Turn on the water and make it hot, add bubbles or bath oil. Sink back and try to clear your mind of all your daily worries. You can even have a relaxation tape or other relaxing music to listen to while you rejuvinate.
Have fun!

Do nothing.
Lay on your bed, breathe deeply, listen to classical music or one of those natural cds. You'll probably fall asleep but maybe that is what you need if you are exhausted.
But if you need something to DO:
Get watercolors and paint nonsense.
Get a bird feeder and watch all the birds that come to eat.
Read a book
Burn some incense...
Just slow down!

take a deluxe bath. light candles, run a hot bath, put on soothing music, get a good book, and relax in the tub. if you have someone, have them give you a massage and a foot rub. breath deeply and just let yourself float. if you smoke, have some weed while you're taking a bath, nothing is more relaxing than smoking in the tub.
well, this is what i would do, it's a perfect relaxation, but unfortunately i don't have a bathtub, only a standing shower! so please take an extra bath for me. :)
