I can remember when that was the general attitude about sex.
I believe, though, that sex was never dirty. People just made it seem that way. Sex is not a spectator sport so those who insist on displaying it for all to see are making it dirty. It is still the same today as ever. There is more acceptance of the exhibitionism that in years past.

That's a good one.
Not to ruin the joke by getting serious, but I read that the air overall is cleaner in the U.S. today than it was in the 1970s. It certainly is in my town -- the air used to be yellow most of the time, but now it's always blue.
I guess I'm spoiled now. When I travel places like Mexico, all the car and bus exhaust in the air is really noticeable.
