If you received a call in the middle of the night and your boyfriend answered it and just listened then passed the phone to you and this guy on the other end(who knows you somewhat) says I need to let you know what kind of man you are with. HE HAD SEX WITH MY WIFE. You then ask your boyfriend the question and he answers very calm..just NO
would you believe him?

damn that's an intresting phone call. If he answered and then gave you the phone, I might believe him. Cause he did give you the phone. He could have hung up.

This is a tough one...I probably wouldn't believe him, but if you really care about him investigate the situation before you jump the gun. Ask the guy's wife if it's true. If you don't feel comfortable doing that then talk to the guy who told you. Ask him for details about what allegedly happened. If you have a lot of details about the situation and your guy is not being truthful you're bound to catch him in a lie. I was in a relationship for four years and people always told me my man was unfaithful. I trusted my man when he told me he never cheated and never looked into what people were telling me. I found out at the end of our relationship that he HAD been deceiving me the whole time. Does this guy who called you in the middle of the night have any reason to lie to you? If I could go back in time and do things differently I would. It hurt a lot more being lied to for four years then it would have at the time. I wish you the best of luck with this :)

Hearing these stories, it's almost embarrassing to be a guy sometimes.
If you love this guy, don't just call him a liar and walk away. Check into the story as much as you can, like can you talk to the wife?
If the story checks out and he did sleep with someone 's wife...run, run fast, run far, don't look back and never doubt that you've done the right thing. Not only did he cheat on you but he most likely destroyed a marriage...he's not worth the air that breaths.

probably not, sounds like the situation is already dramatic or you wouldnt have to ask this. for your b/f to hand you the phone is not a sign of innocence, could be he is just too lazy to care. odds are he's going to say he gave you the phone because he is innocent and figured you should believe him. the fact that you even have to ask is a sure sign you guys arent meant to be anyways. good luck!
with my man, if someone were out to start something, he would inform me of the problem before i got a phone call in the middle of the night and he would be smart enough not to hand me the phone. though we havent nor will we ever have to deal with this. he knows how i feel about cheating and i know how he feels. when its right , you'll know it! and if you wonder about whether or not he is lying, you don't trust him to begin with, so there is your answer!

I have to say that I don't think that I would believe my boyfriend if that happened. It sounds as if your boyfriends back was against the wall so he had no choice but to pass you the phone. Otherwise, I believe he would have hung up on the guy. It also sounds as if he didn't take it up with the man who was calling because he knew that he couldn't talk his way out of that situation. He chose instead to deal with answering to you, probably because he believed that he could handle you and get you to see things his way with little or no difficulty. Either way he put you in the middle of something that you would be a fool to ignore his involvement in. Your question was would I believe him, my answer is h.e.l.l. no!

Do you trust the other guy? Do you trust your boyfriend? Do you have proof that he cheated on you? Do you have any doubts that he cheated on you besides the call in the middle of the night?

A call in the middle of the night doesn't seem like something that I would trust unless there were signs beforehand that also indicated the same thing. I know of too many people that get drunk and call people to say really pointless and false things.

If you have doubt, check it out, find out more. Personally, if it happened to me, I would trust my boyfriend. But then again, I trust him completely and I know he would never cheat on me.

Wow, I really wonder what he told your boyfriend then before he handed the phone to you. It almost seems like someone's playing a joke on you seeing as how your boyfriend didn't even have any violent discussion with the guy on the phone or trying to cover up anything.

You definitely need to look into this more, I would hire a private investigator, and find out what really happened. But don't let a phone call destroy your relationship until you are 100% sure of what happened.

Well if it was before you time then, it doesn't matter. If it was recently then I guess it's all up to you. If you really love and believe him..Remember this, never take someones info until you find out the truth for yourself. The other guy could just be hatin on him.

Who was the caller? I would have told the caller to call me tomorrow so I was more awake to investigate. Your boyfriend answered CALMLY, No????? Hm, that is suspicious at best. was it calm because he wasn't awake and in a sleep stupor or was he fully aware and wanted it to blow over? Have you had trust issues with him before? Sometimes callers do that to throw suspicion onto someone as meanness. Probably warrants checking out.
