I really like this boy and I think that he likes me too but he hasn't asked me and I am scared to ask him out, but my ex keeps begging me to take him back he is willing to do anything for me but I don't have the same feelings for him as I did before. I know that he will take care of me and I think about him everyday. Should I wait for this new guy that I really like to ask me out or stick with the one I know wants me?

wait for the new guy, the other guy is your ex for a reason! something didnt work out with him! give something new a try :) Pass the new guy a note with your phone number, start talking to him and then ask him if he wants to go to a movie or something! be like "i really wanna watch _____, wanna go on fri?"

Why would you take your ex back if you didn't feel the same way about him?? Just to have a bf? Just because he will do anything for you? If I were you, I would just see what happens with the new guy. And if nothing happens, so what there are plenty of fish in the sea. What you should really be worrying about is how to not be dependent on a man, and to learn to enjoy your single years!

It depends on what you want.

Having someone that will take care of you may be a good thing, but someday, it won't be enough and you'll likely end up hurting someone by breaking his heart.

If the ex doesn't do it for you, then you need to continue looking. If you leave a scent, the new guy will ask you out eventually.

The answer to both of your questions is 'no'. What's wrong with asking the new guy out yourself? Or you could simply approach him and do what usually comes natural to a lot of us women. Suggest that he ask you out in such a way that he thinks it was his idea all along. As far as your ex, why play games? You know you don't want him so go for what you do want, and don't be such a wuss! No offense intended.

lets think about it this way.... the new guy is kind of a "challenge" so therefore it has the issue of anxiety going into it. the ex is a fall back, his wanting you back reassured you that you will be able to go to him whenever, making him seem like the better choice, but all in all how will you know unless you step out on a limb and go for the new guy? Right?
