That is true like if you are pretty & this other girl is not. She may not talk to you because she is intimidated by you. Guys might be scared to ask you out so they wont. It is not that dont want to they are intimidated by you.

I actually deal with this a lot. If people know (usually by word of mouth) that you stand up for yourself and won't take **** from others, they will either avoid you, or try to push your buttons (I've had to deal with both). I am generally a very laid back person, but I am not one to back down when someone wants to try to push my buttons. Once people get to know me, they know that I am just an out spoken person, and in no way am I an intimidating person... I just come off that way. I have no problem with listening to someone else's side and taking it into consideration.... but I live in Las Vegas where there are a lot of self centered people that don't want to give the same respect, and I guess that's where the intimidating part comes in.

They just may not like you. I ignore people I don't like, I don't know of anyone that intimidates me, I figure they are just as intimidated of me as I may be of them.

YES, this is very true. If you are very attractive and u know it, if you find yourself attracted to someone who you feel that they may feel out of your league (confusing?) then you should DEFINATELY make a move to see if they like you. Chances are they do, but the fear of rejection from someone whom gets a lot of attention by someone who doesn't is almost not even worth making an attempt due to percentages alone.

That's definitely a possibility. But don't fool yourself, they could also be ignoring you because you are annoying, smell bad, don't talk when people try to start conversations with you, you say weird things instead of simple answers, or are boisterous. There's more than one possibility here.

There are lots of reasons someone might ignore you.
Intimidation is one. Fear is another. Disregard is yet one more.
Without knowing more about your question, no one here can provide an accurate answer.

Not necessarily ignore you, but they probably won't try to mess with you for no reason.

Usually. It's not a 100% thing, but to avoid confrontation they will blow you off.
