meh and mii friends where chillin and i have short hair and one of mii friends said to meh be a woman and grow sum hair that realli hurt and now im wonderin wat have bout short hair

Amelie had the right idea. Some chicks just look better than others with short hair. But that's not to say you're not one of those girls that look hot with a short style. Especially if its a guy, when people are younger they have a hard time stepping outside of the historic views of females: long hair, make up, small waist, big boobs. I have long hair now but wore a stacked bob cut for over 2 years and there were still plenty of guys giving me attention. I think some of the most classy and beautiful cuts are short ones. Like, look at Halle Berry when she had short hair, she is certainly all woman and looked amazing, I actually think she looks better that way than what she is doing now.
Of course the statement was one that will easy offend but perhaps you can take some advice from it. Perhaps you don't 'feminize' your style enough. If you feel that might be it, just check out some other ways to style it that may be a bit more girly. Or try accessories, they can really make your look, especially the right earrings when it comes to your hair-do.
The only time I felt less feminine because of my short hair was when I went to prom and had to wear up-dos, short hair really limits the styles you can do in the situation.
And as for your so called "friend," it sounds like they need to learn some manners and learn that whole, "if you have something negative to say keep it to yourself or get the hell out of my life." Surrounding yourself with people like that can really do some unnecessary damage to your self-esteem and confidence. Look at what ONE statement did, it's already got you doubting yourself. Don't put up with that.

It depends on who and where. Some certainly do sometimes in some places.
There are nations where it had been Law for women to cut their hair short, so they could help guard the cities and look more fierce. When it's the norm, everyone thinks anything else is improper.
I believe people look best with well-cared-for hair that's comfortable for them. That's long on some and short on others.
I've noticed the women often pressure other women to have hairdos similar to their own. If you're comfortable with short hair, don't get pressured into the sharing the hassles of caring for long hair.
Me, I once got pressured into short hair. I regretted it. For me long hair was easier. Please be comfortable with yourself.

I've seen a lot of woman go from long hair to short hair and they look GREAT!!! Don't worry about it. Wear what suits YOU!!! There is a guy. . . .a very good looking guy. . . I work with that is CRAZY about girls with short hair.

It all depends. Some girls look good in short hair, while others do not. I prefer girls with long hair. My wife has long hair and I just love it. I love to play with my wife's hair so much fun.

Yeah they look good with short hair. My sis has short hair and she looks really cute. I have long hair and love it. I'm never gonna cute it again. I think long hair on girls give them a feminine look. So it all kinda depends on how you want to look.

I don't but I don't have the facial features for it!! However I envy those who do!! When u have short hair u can really choose for some really cool hair styles. Just stick with what you are comfortable with!

pshhh, dont listen to her, be who ever you want to be and keep it true to your self, i have short hair, some people look better w/ long hair, its all about the shape of your face, if you have a more diamond shaped head, then keep it med. to short, but it's all up to you, dont let that other gurl pull you down !! be who YOU want to be and keep it up. hope that she see's more in you than how you style your hair!!

yes they do i love my hair short because of the reason it is so much easier to fix and it take me as long! i love short hair! i really want long hair but i just cant seem to let mine grow out! :S

i actually like long and short hair as well as my hair has gone through both. but i like longer hair because theres more you can do along with it

I think petite, thin girls with delicate features often look very pretty with short hair. Bigger girls with bigger features tend to look better with longer hair.
No matter your size, wear your hair the way you like it though.
