& My doc gave me Flonase and avelox for my tonsils, my head is so stuffy..should I get benadryl sinus? I want something that would help me sleep because I've been up since 3 am in pain.. I'm about to run to CVS, should I look for anything in particular. My throat is killing me and my head is stuffy..:(

i think benedryl is great for sleep and as a decongestant. if you try another medication, just be sure it says nighttime formula, or just stay away from the ones that say "non-drowsy formula"

Call your doctor again and ask first, if you have too many different meds in your system that can be dangerous. Don't take Benadryl or anything else till you check.
Having said that, I just finished with a sinus infection myself and I feel your pain! I had the face and head pain and the sore throat. I took ibuprofen which helped some, but I also went to the doctor finally when it wasn't going away and it turned out I needed Zithromax for the infection.
