How many more years of high school do you have to put this together? Just get him cornered and sit next to him and smile with lots of eye contact. Don't worry about where his eyes are looking (for an escape route) after the sweating and shaking he will start talking. Baby steps you know. First we learn to talk then we can work on the "Ask Out".

when i was in high school i was in the same situation. i had been liking this cute boy since day one. i was in 10th grade and he was a senior. anyways, one day i got the nerve to approach him at lunch one day. we started off as friends and about two weeks later, i asked him out to the movies and he said , "yea, why not?" so needless to say- we are still together five years later and i couldn't be any happier.
so, ask him out one day and see what he says. good luck!!!!!

Do NOT ask him out. I've liked a lot of people who seemed to like me to some degree and I could not understand why they wouldn't ask me out. There is always a reason. Don't risk it. If he likes you he will talk to you. Don't listen to his friends. He is the only one who knows how he feels, and if he feels like making a move, he will. Best wishes

I doubt you are going to want to date a guy who doesn't have the self confidence to ask you out. So I would wait for him and if he doesn't move on.

You should stalk him for about 3 weeks. Camp out in front of his house and find out what time he leaves, what time he gets home, etc. Keep doing this until you know everything about him.
Then start sending him anonymous notes about how you've been following him and how much you love him.
Then, after 3-4 months, introduce yourself to him.
He'll immediately fall in love with you.

Yeah, I mean, why not? If you feel that you're ready for this kind of thing with the guy....... Just Do It. If he says yes, good for you. If he says no (why should he, anyway), then he isnt worth your time. Either way, I'm sure you'd find someone really good for you. :)

Ask him. Some guys are so shy they will never ask. Or you could ask him to ask you out. Say, "Hey! Why don't you ask me out sometime. We could grab a drink or something."
