Anti-biotics during a bronchoscopy?

For what reason and under what circumstances would a patient be given antibiotics (amoxycillin intravenously and oral) during a bronchoscopy?

Antibiotic prophylaxis is normally given to patients at risk of endocarditis - especially if using nasal intubation.
