This is not a recognised complication and I can't see how it could anyway. It's a reactivation of your own chickenpox virus - can make you feel unwell and tired and cause the famous painful skin rash, but other than prolonged pain there are no known longterm complications.

No shingles is the chicken pox virus caused by stress or coming into contact with some one who has chicken pox.

no way..shingles run along the course of a nerve..nothing to do with the reproductive system

I am not aware that this is even a potential complication. Is there a risk that the person who advised you had one GCSE, and that it is in woodwork?
