I went to the ER on Dec.24 ...had high heart rate and tested positive for a blood clot...they were getting ready to do MRI when the Flu test came back positive. Something about the test for blood clot could be wrong or something bc of the flu positive..??? Anyway ...I havent followed up , but have no symptoms today..should I be worried ?

Yes U must follow up. The blood clot is still there, it's just not bothering U at this time. U tested positive for a blood clot. Not worried but concerned. If the blood clot if it breaks loose or down when it goes thru Ur heart it could kill you. I'm not trying to scare U. Yes for Ur on peace of mind & life's sake follow up. There is a lot they can not do when one has the flu. If U do not follow up at least call Ur Dr.
