Try using ear candles. They work really well. You can get them at health food stores.

Well, from personal experience I use regular household peroxide. Just a few drops in each ear and let it sizzle for a minute or two and then dab it out of the ear with Q-tips. If you let it run out on it's own it will lighten the color of the skin when it runs out of the ear. But it works. If the ear still seems stopped up; just hold your nose and close your mouth and blow out like you're trying to blow your nose until you noticed that everything seems a little louder than usual. That's called popping your ears. Once you swallow; every thing will go back to normal sounds. If this doesn't work for you; you may want to go to an ear, nose, & throat doctor.

Mineral oil would make it worse I would imagine! Hydrogen Peroxide can unclog them but after using it you need to also wash your ears out with very warm water... and be prepared for a bubbly sound that some find irritating (while others enjoy it)

if water is clogging your ears then use a syringe (like they use on infants). it might also help if someone tries to help you with this method. if it is wax clogging your ears then you can find a ear wax removal kit at a local drug store. all you need to do is follow the directions on back. if this doesn't work try putting a cotton ball (small) into your ear. this will soak up any drainage that won't leak out. if none of this is working try calling your doctor and ask for some other tips available to try.

If it's from water, try using a dry Q-Tip. Don't ram it in the canal, just gently place it in by slow twists. Leave in for a minute to allow the swab to absorb any moisture. If it's from wax build up, use warm soapy water or peroxide to break the wax down then use the Q-Tip to clean out. Using an oily solution only adds to the problem.

Pharmacies sell kits that have an oil and bulb syringe to remove excess wax from ears. Olive oil works also. fill each ear canal with oil, plug with a cotton ball. Repeat for three days. On the third day syringe with a bulb syringe. It may work. The best way is to have a doctor use one of their special syringes to clean your ears. Please do not irritate or hurt your ears by too much poking in them. Remember what Grandmother said, "never put anything smaller than an elbow in your ear."

Try a product called Debrox. It is an oily solution with peroxide. That helps the oil break up the wax and then leaks it out. Ask your pharmacist for it and follow label directions.

mineral oil is used if you have an ear infection not for wax or clogged. and it is only effective it is heated and then you put in cotton. as far as ear wax or clogged you got some really good suggestions. the steam or heat seams to be the main concensus. me myself i lay my ear on a heating pad and it will drain by morning

they say don't put anything bigger than your elbow into your ear.
But cue-tips can help and so can steam. They sell stuff to wash out the ear OTC don't know the name.
A DOC can get it for you.
Some people just have more wax in the ear than others.
The wax can clog up and cause ear infections.
Mineral oil ... who told you that?
You want a grease cutter--not more grease!
