i've always heard good things about drinking green tea,
are there any bad effects of drinking too much??

it contains caffeine.. i didnt know that, thanks for telling me =)
but.. in what way can caffeine harms our body n health?
but of course coffee contains more caffeine than green tea? am i wrong..? =s

there are only very small amounts of caffine, it can react with certain medications, it contains tannins which block iron absorbtion, its not a good idea in the first 3 months of pregnancy. green tea has 20-45mg of caffine, bad side effects occur at 200mg.

I'm not aware of any bad side effects but I suppose "too much" of anything could cause some problems. I use Cinch Energizing Tea Mix which includes a blend of green, red, and white teas and has a huge number of benefits. A cup of green tea should contain 15 to 30 mg of caffeine, but it should also contain theanine (an amino acid that calms) and it counteracts the effects of caffeine.

I really dont think so. Other than the fact if you drink too much in a day it can make you go #2 a lot.

I also read in fitness that drinking 1 full glass no sugar added green tea burns 50 cals alone just by drinking it!

Not really. My brother drinks green tea all the time and nothing happened 2 him. So i dont think there is bad effects of using green tea. Its rather very healthy. Mickey...

The EGCG in green tea is an appetite suppresant. Some people may not want to drink lots of it, because they would go days without an appetite.

I think too much of anything is not good for you. A cup or two of green tea a day is fine. :)

I have never read any. Maybe because it contains caffeine. that could be bad.

I think its got caffeine in it. Don't drink too much.
I drink Pepermint tea, which helps my digestion, also less farting (excuse me if i embaress you). but it's true!

You pee a lot! Other than that, there is caffine which could cause you to be jittery and not sleep.
