Tyler Durden's speech about how "you are not your car, wallet, khakis, etc" was cool. also "the things you own, end up owning you".

That was a very good movie. I loved the ending (I love any movie that has 'ohhh ****, I did not see that coming' moment to it) Very well written (never found a copy of the book)

I think the spiritual truth that hit me the hardest (if you will pardon the pun) is that we all have to be true to ourselves as human beings, not as commodities or as purchasers of commodities. Repressing the humanness only leads to bad things on both a personal level and a social level.

But I have a habit on over-analyzing movies.

That was a hell of a movie. I actually was impressed by the fact that we all seek perfection. And Brad Pitt was the perfect, re-made version of that guy (Edward Norton), or at least perfect in his eyes: He was courageous, care-free, good in bed etc. The total opposite of the guy (Edward). But in the end he shot his own head to kill the person he 'created' which shows that perfection isn't that good, it's bad actually!
DO NOT TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB!!

Oh yeah... it WAS. I especially like the writing style. I don't know what it is about it, but I loved it.

Home was a condo on the fifteenth
floor of a filing cabinet for widows
and young professionals. The walls
were solid concrete. A foot of
concrete is important when your next-
door neighbor lets her hearing aid go
and has to watch game shows at full
volume... Or when a volcanic blast of debris
that used to be your furniture and
personal effects blows out your floor-
to-ceiling windows and sails flaming
into the night

"I ran. I ran until my muscles burned and my veins pumped battery acid. Then I ran some more."

THE spiritual truth of the whole movie: Punishing the body cannot and will not remove the pains of the heart and mind.

That if I develop multiple personalities one will be Brad Pitt, and in a few years I'll hook up with Angelina Jolie and we'll make soap from our love! And the first rule of our love club will be that no one can talk about it.

But I think we can persuade Jennifer Aniston to join us!

I also learned that Edward Norton used to date Courtney Love, so maybe he was really Kurt Cobain too? Coincidence?

You decide!

Tough question for a real answer. Its been awhile but if I remember. They fight to [feel]. Like one who cuts them self, he doesn't feel anything [good or bad]. We go around in this world looking for things to make us feel. Like the excess of luxury cars, sex, jobs, etc.... That is the human spirit without God. Sorry, I would have to see it again to give a better answer. Thanks for the challenge though.
