What do you do about a co-worker that obviously cannot do her job (she's the only one in the company responsible for answering the phones), and she never gets written up for it, and even though management knows about it, and says things to her about the ongoing issues, never actually back any of it up with a write-up or actual DISCIPLINING of the co-worker. leading up to the point of her BRAGGING she ddnt get write up! So sick of everyone getting mass-memo's about her not doing her job, and they never do anything about it! Has anyone ever been in a situation like this? All the girls in the office are fed up, and even the president of the company doesnt like her.......Ughhhh.

Well maybe make a suggestion to you're management -- like "hey I know that we're having so many problems with so and so -- if you want I can take over her responsibilties until you find her replacement" or something like that -- its totally bogus that they wouldn't do something about this if its such a problem for them and its affecting others.

Its gonna end up getting even worse because she'll start taking advantage of this and start bieng late and taking advantage of authority in different ways!!

Yes, I have seen that situation many times. I have always just sat back and waited...it catches up with them eventually. The best thing to do is to keep yourself out of the situation. Cover yourself and watch for the fall-out! Good Luck!

With all due respect, concern yourself with your own job performance; unless you hired her, it's none of your business.
