Would a chipped digital ntl box work if used with Sky

I doubt it, but they have the same input connection, so you could try it, unless you are only thinking of getting Sky.
When you either bought a chipped box, or had the one you had, chipped, I bet you thought it would save you a lot of money.
Either is hasn't worked to your satisfaction, or you like the Sky channels too much.
You couldn't connect the NTL box to the phone-line, which is a requirement for the first year with Sky, even if you don't subscribe to any non free channels.
You are taking a chance asking questions about illegal activity on an open forum.

no it will not work due to the program the boxs use if u get it to work please tell the rest of us
