peace,
if being born again is what they say it is, & i think what happened to me as the same. its very rejuvinating. its gives one a witness that good is god, & good & holy live close to each other, & holy is so sacred to life, one is protected from badness happening that happens, when one feels the bad making ground not only at you, but in you, holy purgess badness by its own presence, like a mother whom begins to hold an infant whom is crying while laying in its crib, but now comforted by the care, love & affection the mother is giving to the infant, whom stops crying & even smiles.

I've been saved pretty much all of my life, so I'm not going to say that in the beginning i was a bad person and now I'm better. But i will say that I have peace, the world around me is getting crazier and crazier, but though i worry i know that Jesus has prepared a place for me. And when bad times come, like when my grandfather died, I could always look to God even when I didn't feel like being around other people. It's a feeling of safety I get. And sometimes i take it for granted.
Hoooray good questions today!

Whom the Son sets free, is free indeed! A life in Christ is not boring, filled with condemnation. What a ride, to have no fear of death, to see people delivered from their sins, to see people truly love their brothers & sisters in action, to experience miracles everyday. To have a chance to travel the world or across the street to tell of His love, and oh the Peace, despite troubles & tribulations& tears. To never be alone! Whoo whooo what a ride ! I wouldn't have missed for the world! And the journey home..what a ride! Can hardly wait!

I dont feel "set free". Not in the slightest. For me, its a feeling of greater conviction to abide by the laws set forth by God. If anything, its a humbling feeling that I cannot, without the sacrifice of Christ, even come close to Gods standard. And Im ok with that. I have a savior who did. I imagine the freedom that your describing is a feeling of liberation at realizing the God is in complete control and wants nothing but the best for me and out of me in this lifetime . I do have that feeling. And rejoice in the glory of God daily. may God continue to bless you in your life. If I may offer a word of caution. Try not to base your faith so much on emotions. there will be highs and lows that come from walking with Christ. While Im extremely happy that your on a high right now, when it faids, dont let your faith fade along with it.

yes, just as you said renewed.
The old self is gone, Jesus makes all things new.
I am free, because I KNOW Jesus has forgiven me.
I don't dwell on the things I have done in the past.
Everyday is a new day to grow in the Lord.
I'll never forget the day after I was saved.
That morning driving to work, just looking at the sky, the trees, the birds, it was like seeing everything for the first time.
I pulled in the parking lot of the church I go to, I called my pastor and asked him if he and his staff could come outside, because i wanted to introduce them to someone.
When they came out I said Hello my name is ----------- -------------and today I'm walking with Jesus. It was awesome.
Thanks for letting me share that.

Yes, I have been set free from depression and anxiety, set free of expectations and conventions of the world. I have been given undying love and hope that fills my spirit up and will last forever. I am free from worrying if I am wrong and will have wasted my life when I die....I am free from worry in general, the list goes on and on

Mostly. I still battle with a "sin nature"
I do see "fruit of the spirit" ... more kindness and contentment. Other people have noticed this. And it only by God's grace that my life is more oriented to being a good ambassador of Jesus Christ.

Not really. I'm still "working out my salvation with fear and trembling" in this valley of tears. Picking up my own Cross daily and following Him. Sometimes it's very painful to be His Disciple. I'll be set free when I'm dead.

It is like all the years I spent trying to avoid God because I thought God would make me boring or square were such a waste of time.
I wish others could realize that following God can make you happier than following the empty promises of the Devil.
Peace and God Bless!

I have the warmth in my heart the only being born again through Christ our Lord can bring, And it doesn't matter if you ask for only true responses, other will inevitably chime in and cause a damper on you question with ridicule and persecution.
