Many people have told me that i'm gorgeous but this guy constantly picks on me. He calls me "black" and "short" and makes fun of my ethnicity. He says,"i will never go for a dark girl". He's obviously obsessed with me. He calls me everyday and spends half da day talking to me. Is he insecure? Plus he's pretty obsessed with race and colour....He gets on my nerves real bad.

Hmm no ignore this guy. He obviously likes you but is not willing to do anything with you since your black. This guy is a dipshit. He's trying to convince himself he doesnt like you sounds like, although his other head is telling him different. Find a guy who will really appreciate you, every bit of you. And not feel insecure because your a woman of color.

It's true that some are nasty, but for the most part that is a generalization.
We can't tell you why he is the way he is... It would seem that he's just an @$$hole if you ask me. Where do you know this guy? Is it at work? If it is at your place of work I would suggest talking to a supervisor to get them involved. If it's outside of work perhaps calling the police & filing a harassment report would get him to back off. If it continues, maybe you could consider a restraining order to keep him away from you.

First of all, your question is slightly different than what you're asking in the text of your message.
If this behavior is going on at work, then you can file harrassment charges aganist him. Not only is he sexually harrassing you but he is also giving you harrassment about your ethnicity and it's a shame that you have to be putting up with this behavior.
The next time he calls, just tell him to get lost. If he continues, then get your number changed.

Some guys are shy when they like a girl, some guys are douche bags to a girl when they like them. Just tell him to shut his face/how you feel. And/or punch him in the face? Bet his friends would think better of him if he beat a girl up and/or lost to a girl. That should be some good payback.

I agree with Milan (the 1st answer). Swift kick to the balls and tell him he either stops and asks you out already or stops if he wants to have children in the future. Be tough! This guy obviously likes the type of girl that puts him in his place...stands up to him! So do it!!!

I would smack him in the head. He needs to get over the fact that you are a different color and he needs to stop being so insecure with himself. Maybe it is him that does not like himself and he knows deep down that he can not have you as a girlfriend.

Is the guy gay or bisexual? I think you need to tell him that you no longer have time for his trivial BS. Tell him thats this goregeous "dark girl" doesnt have time for the likes of him and that real men are seeking your attention.
