me and my girlfriend have been together for 4 years and everything has been great. These past 4 months we have been going through a rough time and we found out that we have issues in our selfs that affect our relationship.
( insecurities, frustration, things that we've carried from the past before we met eachother maybe past relationships who knows) we decided to take time apart to fix those issues and then focus on our relationship without those issues. Its been really hard for me to give her/us the time and space to fix those things, becuase i get scare ill loose her ( 1 of my issues ) my question is have any of you gone throught the same thing and have you overcome those (problems) and made things work after? any advise can help. Thanks. P.s I know this has nothing to do with religion but this is one of the biggest groups. maybe i can get more answers. thanks

Well since you are in the R & S section I will give you an answer from that perspective.

God created you, loves you and wants you to have the desires of your heart as they fall in line with His will in your life.

If you don't know Jesus as savior, start there. The bible says to "cast your cares on Him for He cares for you."

Pray for wisdom and guidance.

I've been through tough times in relationships and the bottom line is without God and His lovingkindness, I would be a broken bitter person.

I have a loving relationship with my hubby now, we are both Christians and neither of us would have it any other way.

feel free to email me

Remove Lust from the relationship, and see whats left.
Don't get married because it's excepted by the Physical Church.

Come togetherbecause Jesus said: Love one another as I have loved you. Caring is enough.

enjoy the trials and tribulations. they are better than the warm fuzzies. issues are what make us. don't try to fix them, thrive on them. These are good and perfect gifts from your Father in heaven. enjoy them as such. he made them especially for you. if you only knew how much planning he went into for every aspect of your life, then you would know truly what love is.

If you will take this problem to the Lord in prayer he can fix anything If it were not for the Lord my husband would not have made it 12 years.
