Yes, of course you can. Either ask the steward nicely and they will let you put your dress in the coat closet or wait until the overhead bins above your seat are almost full and lay your dress across the top of the bags so it doesn't get squished.

I would suggest you hang it in the closet if you can.....as it's less likely to get damaged hanging in the closet.

Regardless of how you get it to your destination, I would sugguest you pack a steamer in your luggage and steam out your dress as soon as you get to where you're going so as to get out any wrinkles which have formed during your travels.

Check with the airline you wish to fly, but I'm almost positive that you have to pack it in a cardbord box and enter it as baggage.

When you get on the plane - ask the flight attendent in 1st class - advise them its your wedding dress - I am sure they will hang it for you.

Yes You can before each cabin there's a closet for Jackets..just ask nicely and they will put in.

yes you can but wait until the upper bins are basically full and lay your gown across the top so it dont get crushed

On a commercial flight? What're you going to do, hold it all flight? Stuff it in the overhead?

yes and you call ahead to your airline to make sure if this is bothering you they may approve it as a carry on.
