find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats, take 300-400 calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
5-8servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water a day
5-6 small meals instead of 3 big ones (breakfast is the most important - make sure to get complex carbs like whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit etc)
4-6 times a week cardio for 30-50min, light weight training, many reps
no junk food, no sodas, no alcohol, no white flour (cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta etc.), nothing high in sugar (ice cream)

1300 is not unhealthy! going below 1200 is supposed to be, but i think 1300 is perfectly ok.. what i usually do is have a 300 calorie breakfast (eg:an egg sandwih and skim milk)
300 calorie lunch (eg a burrito wrap with lean meat)
a 400 calorie dinner (a packet of soup noodles with veggies)
and assorted sweet stuff throughout the day for the remaining 300 (eg 100 calorie chocolate chip cookie packages)

Good luck, and have fun with it!

that's not a lot of calories ... unless your a very small person you might want to up 1300 to a number that is more proportional to your height age and weight--and your body type. See a Dietitian to determine your estimated daily caloric intake.
the RDA is not complicated--neither is nutrition.
Read labels and log on just about to any RDA site to find out the proportions of how much (on average) of fat, protein, carbs--and what types you need.
there are boohoo #'s of names for tummy tuck exercises.

by eating salads, small amounts of seafood, not abusing of carbs, avoiding greasy and spicy foods, eating fruits and vegetables in measured quantities.
you can read the amount of calories in the Nutritions Facts on the back of certain products.
By doing exercise with your abs you will reduce some pounds as well.
:) Good luck

I'm only eating 1200. Cambell's soup at hand (not cream flavors) are low in cals and filling. So is fat free lite yogurt, salads, (low or no dressing) fish, or lean budget frozen dinners. I snack on rice cakes, carrots, or 100 cal snack packs of cookies or crackers. Hope this helps.

First of all, 1300 is an unhealthy amount. But whole grains, fruits, and veggies provide the most amount of foods for the least amount of calories.
