Oh for goodness sake. 'Getting old' - what, you should just let her die then? And she might well do if you don't get her to a vet. Throwing up since saturday is very bad, she will be hideously dehydrated by now. There are a thousand reasons a cat could be vomiting, and it could well be curable - but you have jeopardized her chances by leaving it so long. Please don't waste any more time - get her to an emergency vet THIS EVENING, she will undoubtedly need a a drip.
For the record, 13 is not particularly old for a cat, it's the equivalent of about 65 in a human. Cats can live past 20, and frequently make it past 15, she could have years left in her.
Good luck at the vets, hope it gets sorted,
Chalice

I am sure you read about certain cat and dog food taken off the market. I hope your cat is not eating it; Or at least her/his body is saying No, Fancy feast is the best,
My kitty is a bit older than yours. Oh yes, she loves tuna and Samoan,,,,,no way, throws up....she is not sick....nor is yours,
unless you gave her a brand that is now being taken off the market. thank goodness, if you have, she is still alive!!!
Do not know why, however tuna and Samoa, just do not agree with their system as they grow older. I just gave her tuna, from
fancy feast....no way, throw up later.
We sure do love our kitty cat's don't we!!
Not to worry...give her chicken or something like that...
Put a dish under the dish she/he is drinking from...so they do not have to had their head so far down.....
Imagine us, eating food on the floor....really.
Hope she/he is doing better. If not, take her/him to a Vet. as you know...cost a lot of money.....Money can be replaced...not our Kitty cats....I only have one also.
If you would like...my email is evelyn@cyberconn,net

If the cat is vomitting and not drinking, it can lead to serious dehydration and will continue to aggrevate the problem.
The cat's liver and kidney need checked immediately. Could have eaten something poisonous. Take it to the vet.
My cat lived to be 20+ years old. 13 yrs isn't that old for cats.

she's on the old side, but 13 isn't that old! take her to the vet, she could have a hairball blocking her intestine, or just built up in her tummy. until you get her to the vet, try hairball remedy treats--if she'll eat them. but at this point, see a vet ASAP!
(as to the tuna & salmon--i'm assuming you've fed her fish regularly before & know she's not allergic? i hope. fish allergies are VERY common in cats, even though one wouldn't think so.)

sounds like it's at least time to give the vet a call to schedule an appointment.
Although not as bad as diarrhea, vomiting can lead to dehydration, which can be dangerous.
Don't throw in the towel at 13 for your cat...he can still have a lot of years and life ahead of him. Call your vet.

You really need to bring her to the vet. If she is not eating or drinking don't waste time. Cats can't afford to loose too much weight, can cause liver problems. And she could have in jested something poisonous, or something is lodged in her throat. Good luck.

old & hairball are the most likely answers.. at this point, given that the cat may be dehydrated, take to the vet
