I know exactly what you're going through. Murad's Acne Complex really helped me a lot. It costs $60 though. Biore is great for the pores. But when I'm not ballin' like that I use:
exfoliation like crazy to get dead skin off
hydrogen peroxide to lighten up my scars
egg white ( beat) and leave them on face until dry this helps tighten pores and dries oily skin. The yolk moisturizes dry skin.
duck tape on nose to get rid of blackheads
use concealer to cover bad pimples.
Make sure you change your pillow case every other day and wash face before you go to bed.
I hope this helps you

I've had acne since I was 10 years old, and I've tried every treatment out there--even acutane. I started using proactiv a few weeks ago, and that's been what's worked best for me. It doesn't dry out my skin like a lot of prescription dermatology stuff, but it keep my skin from looking oily and shiny. And it's helping get rid of my break-outs. Another plus: it's a lot cheaper than most acne products, and you don't need a prescription! Plus, you don't have to remember to take acne meds. I'd try that before trying anything more expensive/drastic. I tried acutane, which is supposed to really cure acne--it cost hundreds of dollars and I had to get blood drawn every month...and my acne just came back!! Another thing that has actually helped is doing clay masks at home--they draw the oil out of your skin--my skin looks great after I finish one, and they feel so good! Olay has some good ones. Plus, they won't dry your skin out--good for combination skin (that's what I have, too). For a fast fix when you don't have anything else around, put some toothpaste on the zit (seriously!). Leave the toothpaste on for about 10-15 minutes, and it will help stop the redness. It's good for those pimples that are just beginning to come up--those red, sore ones.
Good luck!!

This actually is a common thing that happens to teenagers. if it gets worse really fast, i would suggest seeing a dermatologist. Accutane is a powerful medication in getting rid of bad acne.
however, a great skin care line i use is from Jan Marini. i had a some skin issues and Jan Marini helped me out a lot!
she is a skin researcher that has worked with some of the top dermatologist in the nation.
check her website out www.janmarini.com

The best thing for pores is to exfoliate and cleanse your skin, also to use a good moisturiser depending on your skin type. steam your face to it opens your pores and after wards wash your face with cold water to close them again this will make your skin look a lot more fresher.

You could try a deep cleanser, oil control moisturizer, and twice a week microdermabrasion. Mary Kay offers all of these products and you can shop on line. Check with a consultant and try before you buy!
