Yes, my hair is better off in city water. Well Water is very harsh with minerals. Some water has sulfur in it or minerals that can make hair brassy as well.

Check out the products by Malibu 2000 - they have things that will help your particular situation. Things for swimmers, well water, etc.

Yes it does, hard water makes your hair feel like straw and your skin almost sticky, anything but soft and smooth. Soft water is always better for your hair and skin! Sometimes it can be hard to rinse with though- cuz the soap gets too sudsy- but your hair is shiny not dull and soft not straw-like. Hard water makes your hair brittle and break! :(

heck yes it does! it makes a diff in your skin as well. we have a water softener and i didn't know what a big difference there was till we went out of town and was using the hard water at motels. you feel lovely when the waters soft and like a dried up leaf when the waters hard

sure problematic water roughens the hair...my cousin upstate enjoyed washing her hair interior the Brooklyn or Queens by using fact our water is softer than upstate Rockland County... So gentle is greater...
